Solana Beach Cats has rebranded themselves, after 15 years in business, is now launching as the California Bearcats Select

Statewide influence

When we started we just had players from Solana Beach area. Now we have players from Chula Vista to Escondido to Orange County and our high school 17u team even had a player from Portland, Oregon playing with them. We wanted to broaden our scope of influence on impacting kids lives

One program, One goal, One name

From Lil’ Cats to 17U. When we entered the high school club division this last spring we did a series of focus groups with players. Our players wanted a stronger, broader name with that reflected in our name and our logo. We have accomplished that.

We have evolved and we have changed over the past 15 years and we wanted to go to the next level and the timing is right.

We have had nothing but positive comments about our change, our new logo, fully sublimated uniforms with state of the art technology and now a solid foundation for a long run in the future with you and your children.
